Bacardi is an impressive son of ‘keur’ Grand Prix jumper Corland. Corland’s offspring perform at the highest international level - for example: Top Gun, Marlo and Silvana. Dam’s sire, Kannan, was National Jumping Champion of France. Kannan is also the sire of A Big Boy. Next in the pedigree comes the legendary stallion Jasper (‘Little One’ under Hugo Simon) and the Grand Prix jumper Fresco.
Bacardi’s dam Supardi scored a 9 for scope in her mare-test. Bacardi’s half sister Capardi had a good IBOP with the highest score of the day receiving an 8.5 for her canter. Grand dam Gupardi is the mother of at least 2 national jumpers.
He is currently one of the most promising young jumpers at international shows.
At this moment we don't have his semen available but after his sport career Bacardi will be available again for breeding.
During the Stallion Performance Test, Bacardi received a 9 for scope. In the stallion competitions Bacardi shows that he has the potential to be a great jumper for the future. He impresses with his strong canter, enormous scope and his good technique. Under rider Dennis van Tilburg, Bacardi placed 5th in the finals of the VION Cup and 11th in the final rankings. At the World Championship in Lanaken, Bacardi jumped very well and placed with a double clear round in the finals. Jumping clear in the stallion competitions in Zuidbroek and Hengelo where he placed 5th; Bacardi was very impressive.

Idara (by Baltic VDL) and Ibiza (by Inshallah de Muze) have won the 7-year-olds 1.30m classes. Besides, Ibiza Became regular champion!
Goldenstar (Bacardi VDL x Ipsylon B) and Alex David Gill placed 2nd in the Grand Prix of the Roelofsen Horsetrucks Winter Classics competition in Exloo. The Grand Prix was won by Florian (Zirocco Blue x Cardento), ridden by Albert Zoer, Famariloma (Azteca VDL x Ahorn), ridden by Steven Veldhuis, ended up 4th.
In the 1.45m Roelofsen Horsetrucks Winter Classics Grand Prix took Alex Gill with our mare Goldenstar (Bacardi VDL x Ipsylon B) the 3rd place at Luttenberg. Cohinoor VDL (by Cornet Obelensky) became 5th in the 1.40m.
Dallas VDL finished in 5th place in the Oldenburg Grand Prix, halfbrother Grand Slam placed 7th in the final of the Medium Tour.

Bacardi VDL son, Fremont VDL, became the best out of 26 combinations in the 1.40m class the British Horse Feeds Speedi-Beet Grade C in Birmingham.
HARICH - Gouvernante VDL won the Frisian championships in ZZ jumping in a phenomenal way last weekend under rider Elisah Aarts.
Spruce Meadows - Amalia, a descendant of Arezzo VDL, from Kyacinthe ster pref prest of Emilion, breeder VDL Stud, won the 1.40m Friends of the Meadows YH 7y / o with Daniel Coyle. With Farell (v. Cardento) he became fifth in the Grand Prix.
Alex David Gill, stable rider at Marcel de Boer in Nieuwleusen, has won the U25 Grand Prix in De Peelbergen with Goldenstar (by Bacardi VDL). Gill completed the course in 44.19 seconds.
Fremont VDL (by Bacardi VDL) achieved an excellent 2nd place in the 1.40m of the 2 * Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show 2019.
Bacardi VDL (Corland x Kannan) and Janika Sprunger became 5th in the 5* Grand Prix of Valence, France.
Katinka van het Valenberghof (Corland x Montender) and Harold Boisset won the 2* Grand Prix of Valence.
