Zirocco Air (by Zirocco Blue) wins Grand Prix in Sopot

SOPOT - In Sopot, Poland, Zirocco-Blue son Zirocco Air has won the CSI2* Grand Prix. With his rider Mateusz Tyszko, the nine-year-old gray remained clear and set the fastest time. Zirocco Air was bred from a Con Air mare by Jan van Hamond from Haren - Fehndorf, Germany.
Zirocco Air and Mateusz Tyszko finished fifth in the 1.40m class. In this class the combination had to let Secret Weapon L (by Bubalu x Acobat II) lead with Dawid Skiba in the saddle.
In the 1.35, the victory was for Zazou Szumawa (by Cantos x Nairobi) and rider Laura Klapinska. Zazou Szuma was bred by the HBC stable in Boijl. Second was Dior V (by Indoctro x Garanco) with Eliza Zawadzka. This combination also won a 1.30m class. Dior was bred by P. Vaessen from Wijnandsrade. Innocence (by Zirocco Blue x Indoctro, breeder J.F. Abbring) and rider Hubert Kierznowski also claimed victory in a 1.30 m class, but had to share this first place with Itoulon B (by Etoulon x Indoctro, who was won by Marek Lewicki). Dior V (by Indoctro x Garanco) and Eliza Zawadzka finished fifth in this class.
