Sambucci de Muze takes 5th place in the 1.40m Grand Prix at Oranjewoud

The Grand Prix took place on Saturday during the annual Oranjewoud show in Mildam. Sambucci de Muze, ridden by Luke Hill, also qualified for the jump-off. The pair put in a flawless jump-off performance to secure 5th place; Sambucci de Muze is bred by Joris de Brabander. Fourth place went to the Glenfiddich son Macron van de Valckenborg and Wesley de Boer, bred by S. Wolters. Third place also went to an offspring of a VDL stallion. The Zirocco Blue son Ofichem’s Finn, bred by O.H. Oldenziel, finished in third place with Weite Oldenziel.

In the classes for 4- and 5-year-old horses, Magnus von der Sohr secured third place. The young Machester van ’t Paradijs son received two 8.2s from the judges with Alexandre Boursier. Fourth place went to the Carrera son Rocky Star with Ine Zegeren. J.A.F. Mittendorf is the breeder of Rocky Star. In the 4-year-old class, victory went to Son of Mattias (by Mattias). As the name suggests, he is a son of Mattias and is bred by H.J. Visscher.
