EXLOO - Oventa Kieni (Karaldo VDL x Vleut) was the best jumping-bred mare at the IBOP in Exloo yesterday with 85 points. For technique, the NMK mare received a 9 and thus she was also declared Elite.
According to the judges, the light-footed Oventa Kieni, who canters with ease and balance, "jumped with lots of power, body use and athletic ability. In doing so, she shows care and maintains a good overview."
Breeder Siem van der Vis (NED) bred Oventa Kieni, who was also champion of the Central Keuring in Groningen.
The pregnant Owyrusa H (Baltic VDL x Corland) by breeder Anne-Jan Hazenberg of Opende (NED) also excelled in nimbleness, carefulness and technique. This mare, who will give birth to a foal by Etoulon in mid-2023, received 80.5 points for her performance.
Jadira QSHS (Zirocco Blue VDL x No Limit) also received the 'Elite' predicate. Under Hylke de Jong (NED), Jadira QSHS competes at 1.50m international level. Meanwhile, the mare is 'Elite IBOP (Spr) Sport (Spr)'.
W. Kooistra from Houtigehage (NED) bred the nine-year-old Jadira QSHS.
