Also in the 2nd week of the CSI de Wolden an offspring of Zirocco Blue took the Grand Prix ribbon:
Gogo Karla V (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro) and Willem Greve jumped a great round and won. Our mare Goldenstar (Bacardi x Ipsylon), ridden by Alex David Gill, also jumped clear in the Grand Prix and finished in 9th place.
Our approved stallion Inaico VDL finished with his rider Alex David Gill in a fantastic 3rd place in the final of the 6 year old horses.
There were many offspring of VDL Stallions placed high in this final:
2nd: Ivar (Harley x Carpaccio), ridden by Dennis van de Brink
8th: Inea (Carrera x Marlon), ridden by Angelique Hoorn
9th: Isla Biza (Douglas x Numero Uno), ridden by Bas van der Aa
Comthago VDL jumped his first international show at the Wolden with rider Marcel de Boer. And he did great, he made two clear rounds in the classes for 5 year old horses.
Homebred Doklahoma VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Emilion) won with rider Mohammed Ghanem Al Hajri a 1.40m class.
Idorette For Ever (Zirocco Blue x Corland), ridden by Ruben Gerritsen won a 1.20m class.
Indoctro’s son Jagger won with Danny Willems a class for 5 year old horses.
Foxie DVL (Harley x Indorado) won with her rider Emile Karim Fares a 1.20m class. In 2nd place finished Havana ( Inshallah de Muze x Lupicor), ridden by Folkert Kelderman.
