As many as 80 competitors competed in the Grand Prix of Lastrup. Almost 2 seconds faster than number 2, Fliere Fluiter (by Zirocco Blue) and Jack Ansems managed to take the win. The 13-year-old mare is bred by J. van de Gevel and has already collected more than €250,000 in prize money.
There was even more success for offspring of Zirocco Blue. Zloty Blue managed to take second place in the 1* 1.30m with Kevin Rudolph on Friday. On Saturday, they even went better and won the class. Zloty Blue is bred in Poland by Jaroslaw Sekula. Yet victory also remained in the VDL Stud bloodlines on Friday, as the Carrera son Good Farming HS managed to win. Good Farming HS (by Carerra) is ridden by Jan Schuttert and bred by L. Piccito/Con. Az. Ag. Pezzilo SS.
