Elucar V.E. (v. Cardento) second in Grand Prix in Liverpool

LIVERPOOL - Elucar V.E. (v. Cardento) and Jack Whitaker ended the year 2019 fantastically by becoming second on New Year's Eve in the Grand Prix of the CSI4 * TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show. Tiger, also a descendant of Cardento, was tenth under Angelie von Essen (Sweden).

Donjo (by Zirocco Blue) and rider Daniel Coyle rode convincingly to the 1.50m victory on Monday evening. In a fast time of 31.14 seconds, the combination managed to reach the finish without faults.

On Sunday Donjo and Coyle became second in a also clear round of 1.45m; here they were only half a second short for victory.
Coyle rode the gelding for his Canadian owners for the first time.

Flamboyant III (by Cardento) still won prizes in Puissance jumping. Under Elliot Smith this horse was placed in eighth place.
