Julius D (Arezzo x Emilion) won with his rider Emanuele Gaudiano the 1.45m 2* Grand Prix in Jeddah. Julius D is bred by H. van Dael from Kelpen and was raised and ridden as a young horse at VDL Stud.
There was also a victory for Jaja (Zirocco Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) in Jeddah. Jaja won a 1.40m class with rider Emanuele Gaudiano. He also performed well in the Grand Prix where he finished in 8th place with a clear round. Jaja has also been sold by VDL Stud to Italy. The 10-year-old gelding was bred by P. Olthof.
