Quasimodo van de Molendreef passed away

To our regret, the fine stallion Quasimodo van de Molendreef (Heartbreaker x Lys de Darmen) passed away at the age of 27.

Quasimodo van de Molendreef himself jumped at Grand Prix level and was internationally successful under David Jobertie and Jaime Azcarraga.

Several of Quasimodo's offspring perform at Grand Prix level. His most famous son is Hello Sanctos, who won under Scott Brash team gold at the London Olympics and individually achieved fifth place. Hello Sanctos was for a long time the No. 1 in the world ranking for show jumpers. Also descendant Comte d’Arsouilles jumped at the Olympic Games under Alexandr Onischenko.

For now, frozen semen from Quasimodo is still available at the VDL Stud.
