Bacardi is an impressive son of ‘keur’ Grand Prix jumper Corland. Corland’s offspring perform at the highest international level - for example: Top Gun, Marlo and Silvana. Dam’s sire, Kannan, was National Jumping Champion of France. Kannan is also the sire of A Big Boy. Next in the pedigree comes the legendary stallion Jasper (‘Little One’ under Hugo Simon) and the Grand Prix jumper Fresco.
Bacardi’s dam Supardi scored a 9 for scope in her mare-test. Bacardi’s half sister Capardi had a good IBOP with the highest score of the day receiving an 8.5 for her canter. Grand dam Gupardi is the mother of at least 2 national jumpers.
He is currently one of the most promising young jumpers at international shows.

During the Stallion Performance Test, Bacardi received a 9 for scope. In the stallion competitions Bacardi shows that he has the potential to be a great jumper for the future. He impresses with his strong canter, enormous scope and his good technique. Under rider Dennis van Tilburg, Bacardi placed 5th in the finals of the VION Cup and 11th in the final rankings. At the World Championship in Lanaken, Bacardi jumped very well and placed with a double clear round in the finals. Jumping clear in the stallion competitions in Zuidbroek and Hengelo where he placed 5th; Bacardi was very impressive.

Gin Tonic vd Haagakkers (Indorado x Saros van ‘t Gestelhof) and Wesley Newlands became 10th in the 2* Grand Prix of London.
Jasmijn vd Renthoeve (Douglas x Baloubet du Rouet) and Wim Vinckx placed 2nd in the Grand Prix of Lier in Belgium. Gretel S (Corland x Baloubet du Rouet), ridden by Jeroen de Winter, placed 7th in the Grand Prix
