Sheraton Den Bosch 2010, S. Tepper

Sheraton is a very interestingly bred son of Indoctro. Calypso II, Grannus and Gotthard belong to the best sires of Germany and have sired many approved sons and international sporthorses. We find these stallions repeated in many international sport horses and proven stallions like Chasseur, Contender, Top Gun and Graf Grannus. In addition to that bloodline, we also find the thoroughbreds Shogun xx and Steinpilz xx, who provide the necessary blood and hardness.

The Dam of Sheraton, Ginella, is ‘Staatspremie’ and has an excellent dam report with only positive remarks. They call her ‘the convincing one with the striking exterior.’ She excelled in the Test for Mares and received a 10 for jumping and several 9’s for other components.

Palmares

Sheraton jumps at international level with rider Suzanne Tepper. They were 3rd in the VHO trophee and placed 3rd in the 1.35m final in Zuidbroek and booked good results in foreign countries: 2nd, 5th and 8th in Melsomvik, 5th in Vestfold, 7th in Salzburg, 8th in Melsomvik. Earlier Sheraton jumped at 1.50m level and competed in Sweden successfully with Niklas Arvidsson, placing 2nd in the Grand Prix Boras, 1st 1.40m Boras, 2nd 1.40m Kungsbacka and 1st 1.40m Halmstad.

Offspring

His first offspring are performing well and appear to be very promising. They have begun competing at international shows now: Woklahoma won the Zuidbroek Grand Prix, a 1.50m class in Bremen and a 1.40m class in Strazeele. Winde R.A.G. placed 3rd in the Wolden Grand Prix, 5th in the Grand Prix Roosendaal and was in 2010 7th in the finals for the World Championship of 7 year old jumpers and 6th at the National Championship. Zanuschka won a young jumpers class at Valkenswaard and was qualified in 2009 and 2010 for the finals of the World Championships Young Jumpers. Arista placed 12th in the finals of the World Championships for 6 year olds. Why Not placed 9th in the Grand Prix in Wierden and was 2nd in Roeser, 5th and 7th in Zwolle. Zenriette J was 2nd and 3rd in Ebreichsdorf and placed 5th twice in Vejer de la Frontera. Whistler won in Roggel and became Reserve Champion in 2009 at the National Championships for 6 year old jumpers. Zorro placed 4th in the ‘Eastern League Finals’ of the 6 year old jumpers in America. Weraton competes at international 1.40m level, Zevenaar and Zantilla did well in Young Jumper classes.

Lovely Boy was the reserve-Champion in Sweden at the Free jumping Championship of the 3 year olds.

Daughter Windependence VDL was Champion at the Central Show in Groningen and 5th at the National Mareshow in Ermelo. She was also selected for the National Free Jumping Championship. Zorlande earned 83 points and Zanella 81 points for her IBOP. Adinia clinched a high score for free jumping at the mare show, 85 points for reflexes and 90 points for her scope. Sheraton’s son Wizzerd was sold in the 2009 PSI auction for the amount of Ä 570.000 and was the most expensive jumper of that auction.
