Pedigree :
Gaultier has an exemplary pedigree beginning with sire Baloubet du Rouet - three time winner of the World Cup Final and Olympic champion in 2004. As a sire Baloubet du Rouet produced an amazing number of successful Grand Prix show jumpers, such as Bubalu VDL, Chaman and Palloubet d’Halong. Grandsire Quidam de Revel jumped at the highest level and is also a sire to a large number of top jumpers to include VDL Groep Verdi TN and Dollar de la Pierre. Next in the line of Gaultier we find the Holstein legend Landgraf I who anchors a great number of approved stallions and show jumpers to include Libero H, Taggi, Lacros and Lovely Boy.\r\n\r\nThe damline of Gaultier is also very interesting. His full sister is the 1.50m show jumper Banana d’Ive and his dam Quilana d’Ive Z has already brought the 1.40m jumper Centinaio d’Ive. Granddam Birke III is the dam of the 1.40m jumper True Star d’Ive and the granddam to Grand Prix jumper Winny the Blue d’Ive and the BWP approved stallion For Passion d’Ive. From this same line come the Grand Prix show jumpers Copaco Cher, Legolas and Quel Homme de Hus.
Gaultier is a beautiful, well-developed stallion with a lot of blood. He is careful and shows a much scope. He gives a good feel to ride and seems to be a great show jumper for the future.
Gaultier performed a good KWPN Stallion Test with a total score of 75.5 points. He received an 8 for technique and scope.
The first foals of Gualtier stand out due to their ground-covering gallop with lots of power, suppleness and balance.
Gaultier: a beautiful son of Baloubet du Rouet out of a strong damline.
