His name says it all: Apardi - the full brother of jumping machine Bacardi VDL. Apardi, himself, performs at the highest level ridden by Daniel Bluman. The sire-line of these two brothers sets the tone for their success via their international performance and breeding credentials: Corland, Kannan, Jasper and Fresco. Corland developed into a true foundation sire with offspring representing him at the highest level - Silvana HDC, California, Andretti S, Ariantha, to name a few. Kannan, ridden by Michel Hécart, was a phenomenon in sport and also in breeding with offspring like Steve Guerdats Olympic champion Nino des Buissonnets, World Cup Final winner Albführens Paille, Molly Malone V and Quorida the Treho. Nick-named Little One, Jasper (under Hugo Simon) was one of the best horses of his time and still leaves its mark on todays breeding with his great mind, reflexes and carefulness.

More than 60 years of careful nurturing, performance, and pairings has lifted Apardis excellent 8-generation damline to top recognition. With two world class approved sons, Apardi and Bacardi VDL, the elite and prestatie mare Supardi, has brought eight more offspring that we are excited to observe as they develop. Supardi herself, is a half-sister to Tupardy, ridden by Russias Sergey Pariev, and Agupardie, trained at Jos Lansinks stables and ridden by his stable riders.

Jos Lansink, himself, rode Bacardi VDL brilliantly to earn the silver medal in Lanaken at the World Championships for the 7-yr olds.The pedigree highlighted above helped to solidly launch Apardis own performances. The second key component of such success -his rider, Colombia s Daniel Bluman - fulfilled the formula outcome by placing at many international five-star shows: Spruce Meadows, Toronto, La Coruña and Wellington. Again and again, Apardi impresses with his incredible reflexes, fantastic mind and explosive power. All of these factors combined, in addition to his handsome exterior, to be recognized last year by the KWPN.
