Great successes for Martini VDL (by Zapatero) and rider Kady Abrahamson (USA) in the United States. During the USHJA Young Jumper Championships, held from 2 to 7 September 2025 during the Traverse City Fall Horse Show in Williamsburg (MI), the combination won the prestigious 8-Year-Old National Championship.
The Zapatero son, bred by VDL Stud, showed consistent form throughout the championship and crowned it with victory in the final, proving once again that this young talent is ready for higher international competition.
Martini VDL was sold in 2024 through the WEF Sport Horse Auction and is already proving to have been a valuable purchase.
