There was a competition for 4- and 5-year old showjumpers in Beilen, called Oostermoerkei. This was a competition for only young showjumpers and in both competition there were great results for VDL offspring.
 
Jackpot (Harley x Ircolando won the finals for 4-year old showjumpers. Jackpot is bred by J. Waijers-Verhoeven from Ravenstein and was ridden by Monique de Jong. Jupiter H (Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest x Gershwin) was placed as second. He is ridden by Germaine Benus and bred by A. Hadderingh from Kostvlies.

And there were more placings:

• 3^rd: flying Jack uitgees (Durango x C-Trento) bred and ridden by Melle Doornbos from Wierden
• 4^th: Caressa Z (Carrera x Iroko), bred by P. Bastiaansen from Tilburg and ridden by Kim Zangtingh.
• 5^th: Jon Jon (Etoulon x Burggraaf), bred by A. de Best from Hulten and ridden by Inez Haitsma

 
Innovater (Arezzo x Azteca) was placed as 2^nd in the finals for 5-year old showjumpers. Innovater was ridden by Nicole Eggens and bred by B. van Leur from Dedemsvaart. Irango (Durango x Goodtimes) was placed as 3^rd, he is ridden and bred by Rolien Albring.
