BEARS - Because of the Coronavirus, we had to find an alternative to our annual stallion show. We found this alternative in an online stallion show. In collaboration with Clipmyhorse, we have made a beautiful presentation of our 2020 stallion collection.
The recordings of this presentation have been spread over 4 days - after consultation with the government, in order to be able to comply with the applicable strict rules and guidelines of the RIVM regarding the COVID-19 Corona virus and not to endanger people.
During this stallion show we do not present the stallions quite as you are used to from us. In addition to the presentation by hand and under saddle, we have made beautiful recordings of a number of our stallions at special locations. The stallions are ridden here by famous riders such as Jur Vrieling, James Billington, Alex David Gill, Marcel de Boer and his son Wesley, Elisah Aarts and Christel Kalf. Commentary is given by Peter van der Waaij. In between the images, it is Frederick de Backer who questions national coach Rob Ehrens and stallion owner Wiebe Yde van de Lageweg about the stallion collection of the VDL Stud. This interview provides valuable information for the breeders that they can use in making their choice of stallions.
