Tryon - VDL Cartello, who made his debut last month with Lorcan Gallagher, finished third in the Tryon Grand Prix. The combination was the fastest of all jump-off combinations, but just not clear.
Cartello, like Cardento 'Elite', was bred out of the mare B-Estelle.

This horse was sold by the VDL Stud in February 2020 during the 8th edition of the annual WEF Sport Horse Auction in Wellington.

Hachi (by Cardento) also finished in second place in a 1.30m class under Victoria Colvin. Another Cardento descendant, Ideal, finished second in the 1.40m class under David O'Brien.
