Yesterday, the IBOP took place in Exloo, where Sumosa (by Mattias) impressed the jury with 90 points. The Mattias daughter, bred by A. Roosjen, also claimed the championship title at the Central Inspection in Exloo last summer. Jury member Wim Versteeg described the mare as: "This is truly an above-average mare. She is very easy to ride, light-footed, moves with great posture and balance, and is very athletic in everything she does. She has a spacious canter, can change leads easily and always lands in the correct canter. She jumps well with her body up, assesses well, uses her body well and jumps with a lot of bascule and athletic ability. She also made a good impression with her technique, and she does everything in a very natural way."
The Zinelord daughter, bred by E. van Ittersum and owned by J.A. ten Napel, also impressed the jury. Solandra ITT passed with 84 points and the following jury comment: "This mare moves well, with great balance. She started off a bit cautious when jumping, but she clearly built up her confidence. She jumps well with her body above, always finishes the jump very well and is very consistent. When jumping, she shows a lot of power, assesses well and is easy to ride and work with."
