Strong VDL-performance at Gorla Minore

During the international competition in Gorla Minore, several offspring of VDL stallions were prominently featured. In the young horse classes and the more challenging CSI2* tests, Comthago, Carrera, Indoctro and Impressive clearly stood out with convincing victories.

The seven-year-old Contessa 253, a powerful and responsive daughter of Comthago VDL, delivered an exemplary performance under Giulia Martinengo Marquet. In the 1.30m class, she demonstrated her quick reflexes and competitive focus by remaining faultless in both the basic course and the jump-off, securing victory. The Comthago daughter is bred by B. van Spijkeren.

There was also VDL success in the Big Tour. Oratrice vd Donkhoeve, a striking Carrera VDL offspring, jumped to victory in the 1.00m class under Elisabeth Meyer. With her power, suppleness and consistent rhythm, she set an unbeatable time in the second phase, finishing convincingly at the top. De Donk NV is the breeder of the Carrera daughter.

Among the five-year-olds, it was Rum RJ, by Impressive, who made a strong impression. Under Ionel Bucur, the young gelding showed great promise for the future. With a flawless and controlled round in the 1.10m course, he took the victory and confirmed the quality of his bloodline. The Impressive son is bred by H. Ebbinge.

Finally, Indoctro was back in the spotlight via Pandy Floss E, who took the victory in the 1.35m Small To with Célia Biasi.
