The KWPN young jumper Championships brought a lot of success for VDL Stud and for offspring of VDL Stallions.
Champion of the 4-year old jumpers became Idagonda (Zirocco Blue x Corland), ridden by Nicole Mestrom. Idagonda is bred by F. Wetemans from Heythuysen. In 8th place finished Iron Maiden HH (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Indorado), ridden by Rielke Roeland. Iron Maiden HH is bred by A. O. de Haan from Jubbega.
In the Championship of the 5 year olds the Championsribben was taken by a son of Falaise de Muze. Blom’s Hiek’n (Falaise de Muze x Matterhorn), bred by the Fam. Veninga from Hijken became Champion with his rider Thomas Mertens. Also in this class offspring of VDL Stallions were high placed:
3rd Hasall ( Zirocco Blue x Indoctro), ridden by Sander Naber, breeder N. Broeders uit Hooge Zwaluwe
4th Haskal (Cardento x Indoctro), ridden by Chantal Regter, breeder J. Otten Hoogersmilde
9th Hendriek (Indoctro x Up to Date), ridden by Miranda Esser, breeder H. Visser, Aarlanderveen
10th Hamanta B (Dakar x Indorado), ridden by Michel Priemis, breeder H. Brinkman, Nieuwleusen
And in a fantastic 11th placed finished our stallion Heineken VK VDL (Zirocco Blue x Rebel II Z). Heineken VK VDL we own together with his breeder, Stoeterij van Kleef from Ede
Champion of the 6 year old jumpers became the breedingproduct of J.G.M. Meyer: Gloed (Indoctro x Quality), ridden by Timothy Hendrix. Gloed won one of the qualifiers and also today’s final. In 2nd place finished our stallion Graziano (Baltic x Great Pleasure), we own Graziano together with Rikkert Stables and W. Bourgondien. Graziano is ridden by Steven Veldhuis and is bred by H. en A. Barenkamp from Ter Apel.
In 3rd place finished Guppie VDL (Arezzo x Cardento), ridden by Lennard de Boer and bred by H. Schut from Grootegast.
Our stallions Grand Slam VDL and Global Express VDL finished at 6th en 7th place,a fantastic result. Both stallions are ridden by Lennard de Boer.
In the Championship of the 7-year olds Farah (Arezzo x Concorde) placed 2nd. Farah is ridden by Kim Emmen and is bred by fam. Ongering and Wolters from Groningen. Our homebred mare Fancy Roos VDL (Baltic x Goodtimes) finished with her rider Maud Roosendaal in a fantastic 9th place.
