The final weekend of the CSI2* competitions produced some impressive sporting performances. The highlight was Jur Vrieling's victory with the stallion McAllister VDL (by Inaico VDL). The pair remained clear in the 1.40m class with direct jump-off and recorded a top time of 31.45 seconds, good for the victory. The Inaico son is bred by VDL Stud.
VDL offspring were also successful at the highest level. In the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix over 1.60m, Nicola Philippaerts jumped to a strong second place with Katanga van 't Dingeshof (by Cardento). This earned over 61,000 euros for the Cardento daughter bred by Jaak Vermeulen.
