In the Grand Prix Kronenberg 1.45m: 2nd place for Jesther (by Cardento)

During the international competition in Kronenberg, several VDL offspring once again shone in the CSI2* and CSI1* classes. The horses convincingly demonstrated their quality, particularly in the 1.45m Grand Prix and the Youngster Tour.

CSI2* Grand Prix 1.45m: 2nd place Jesther (by Cardento) 

In an exciting jump-off in the Grand Prix 1.45m, Jesther (by Cardento) jumped to an excellent 2nd place under Dutch top rider Maikel van der Vleuten. With two clear rounds and a fast 38.43 seconds, the pair came close to victory. G.J.A. Moerings is the breeder of Jesther.

Just a hundredth of a second behind the number two, Lancaster W (by Glenfiddich) finished in a strong 3rd place with rider Bart Lips. The pair also remained clear in both rounds and stopped the clock at 38.48 seconds. The Glenfiddich son is bred by Stal Wezenberg.

CSI1* Youngster Tour – Pelisa (by Liamant) wins the 6-year-olds

In the Youngster Tour for 6-year-olds, the victory went to Pelisa (by Liamant), ridden by the talented Dutch rider Yael Kooiker. The combination remained clear and set an unbeatable time of 28.96 seconds. The 6-year-old mare is bred by J. Koops.

A fine victory that emphasises the promising future of Liamant offspring.
With podium places in the 1.45m Grand Prix and victory in the Youngster Tour, VDL Stud had a particularly successful week in Kronenberg. The offspring of Cardento, Glenfiddich and Liamant once again proved their quality, attitude and competitive spirit in the sport.
