OPGLABBEEK – On 10 August 2025, Gangster WW (by Grand Slam) jumped to an impressive fourth place in the 1m55 Longines Ranking Grand Prix of the CSIYH1*. Ridden by Luke Dee (NZL), the gelding bred by Wilhelm Winkeler (GER) remained clear twice and clocked 36.20 seconds in the jump-off, earning €10,550 in prize money.
Earlier in Opglabbeek, Peyton VDH (by Cohinoor) with Anni Kaljund (EST) won the 5-year-old class twice on Thursday and Friday. The KWPN horse is bred by S.C. Guth & R. van den Heuvel.
The performances in Opglabbeek and beyond once again underline the international class of VDL bloodlines.
