Flamboyant III (by Cardento) wins the Hickstead Derby

Flamboyant III once again proved his exceptional qualities by claiming victory in the prestigious Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby with British rider William Whitaker. After finishing runner-up in the previous two editions, the pair finally secured a well-deserved win in the iconic 1.60m class.

The 16-year-old son of Cardento, bred by A. Trip from Terschelling, once again demonstrated that he belongs among the very best Derby specialists in the sport. Out of the thirty combinations, only two managed to jump clear in the first round, with Whitaker and Flamboyant III ultimately sealing victory in the jump-off.
