ERMELO (NED) - Today 5 young three-year-old VDL stallions received their approval for the KWPN after taking the performance test.


New Pleasure VDL (For Pleasure x Diamant de Semilly)
The highest score was for New Pleasure VDL (For Pleasure x Diamant de Semilly), he was crowned champion with a fantastic score of 87.5 points. For his power, rideability and talent he received a whopping 9.0 and for all other jumping components the For Pleasure son scored a convincing 8.5. Without a doubt a top talent for both sport and breeding.

We bought New Pleasure VDL from Egbert Schep from Tull en 't Waal and was bred by Family De Maertelaere / Stal van de Zuidakker
 

Nickelson VDL (Cohinoor x Harley)
With a score of 81.5 points, the Cohinoor VDL son Nickelson VDL was one of the most striking stallions in the KWPN performance test 2021. The charming gray was particularly notable for his excellent reflexes and technique in jumping. Nickelson VDL was able to convince the KWPN Stallion Committee with his light-footed, balanced canter, extra reflexes and remarkably good technique. For these parts he scored an 8 and two times an 8.5 respectively; his rideability, attitude and aptitude were also awarded an 8. With the emerging sire Cohinoor VDL and the proven Harley VDL in his pedigree, the talented Nickelson VDL is an interesting young stallion for breeding.

Norton VDL (Baltic x Corland)
The charming gray Norton VDL was chosen as one of the premium stallions at the KWPN Stallion Show and already stood out for his extra jumping skills and good model. Corland's grandson was also convincing in the KWPN performance test and was entered with 81 points. The extra-modeled gray stood out for his canter and all jumping parts, for which he scored 8.5 and 8's respectively. Norton VDL can add jumping quality and rideability to breeding.

Nebraska VDL (Baltic x Douglas)
Nebraska VDL turned out to be complete in all parts in the KWPN performance test and consistently scored an 8.0. With a score of 80 points, Nebraska VDL is an interesting jumping talent for breeding. This Baltic VDL son is a complete stallion who can be interesting for many different mares.

Nottingham VDL was registered with the KWPN with 76 points and convinces with his scope and attitude, for which he scored an 8. With his strong dam line and as a son of the preferent Arezzo VDL, Nottingham VDL seems to have a bright future for sport and breeding.
