During the international competitions in St. Tropez (19–20 September 2025), Comthago VDL daughter Nena-Alve DV won two prizes under French rider Chloé Maréchal.
Nena-Alve DV jumped convincingly to victory in the CSI1 Big Tour 1m30*. With a clear round in 67.18 seconds, she left all her competitors behind. A day later, the combination confirmed their form in the CSI1 Grand Prix 1m35*. With another double clear round, Maréchal and Nena-Alve DV finished fifth in the jump-off, in a time of 37.85 seconds. R. de Vries is the breeder of the Comthago daughter.
This Grand Prix also saw a top ranking for British rider Tess Carmichael, who took sixth place with Bangle SR (by Chin Chin) in 38.46 seconds. Bangle SR was bred by ZG Sleutels from Roggel (NED).
The performances of Nena-Alve DV once again demonstrate the talent and sporting qualities of the young Comthago VDL offspring, who are increasingly winning prizes internationally.
