Our topmare Celena VDL  (mr. Blue x Chin Chin) is sold to the USA, where she will be ridden by the American rider Sayre Happy.

Celena VDL is bred by the VDL Stud out of the Dutch Champion-mare  Welena VDL (by Chin Chin). She is a daughter of the European Champion mare Helena (by Ahorn). This mareline has produced several international tophorses like Southwind VDL, Pan Am VDL, Onatello VDL, Everest, Glennride,  Arkansas and the Champion of the KWPN Stallionshow Freeman VDL, who now competes at 1.40m level with  Jur Vrieling. A younger brother of Celena VDL , Kadance VDL (Cardento x Chin Chin), was selected for the KWPN Stalliontest for twee weeks ago.

Celena VDL had a fantastic education by James Billington.  Last year Marlon Modolo Zanotelli took over the reins and with him she sparkled at the highest level. Together they won the Grand Prix of Samorin and Valkenswaard and they won the Nations Cup of Samorin. Beside that they won two big international classes at Rome and Valkenswaard, they placed 2^nd in the Grand Prix Vilamoura and were 3^rd in the World Cup class at Helsinki.
