A fantastic result for Magic Coconut (Carrera VDL x Coconut Grove xx) and Renske Kroeze at Military Boekelo-Enschede. The combination was crowned Dutch Eventing Champion 2026 last weekend.
Kroeze and the nine-year-old Magic Coconut made a strong start to the championship, finishing third after the dressage with a score of 32.9 penalties. In the cross-country, they jumped clear over the obstacles and only added 7.2 time penalties, moving up to second place in the Dutch standings.
In the final showjumping phase, they had one fence down, but with a final score of 44.1 penalties, it was enough to secure the Dutch national title. In the international ranking, Magic Coconut and Renske Kroeze also finished as the best Dutch combination.
The 2017-born Magic Coconut is a son of Carrera VDL out of a daughter of Coconut Grove xx and was bred by P.J.M. Verbakel.
A fantastic result for Renske Kroeze and Magic Coconut, and another great success for an offspring of Carrera VDL, this time in international eventing.
