Cardento-offspring supreme results worldwide

Last weekend, several of Cardento’s offspring once again made their mark at international shows in Hamburg, Windsor and Beddizole, Italy. From the prestigious German Derby arena to CSI5* level in Great Britain, Cardento’s progeny once again demonstrated their class.

At the famous CSI4* German Jumping Derby in Hamburg, William Whitaker rode Flamboyant III to a strong sixth place. Bred by A.C. Trip-Van IJzeren from Terschelling, he clocked a time of 170.59 seconds in the gruelling Derby class. Hawthornhill also jumped his way into the prize-winners’ circle. Ridden by Irish rider Commandant Geoff Curran, the Cardento offspring finished seventh. The son of Cardento is bred by Jerry Quinn.

At CSI5* level in Windsor, Farrel VDL demonstrated that he is more than capable of competing at the very highest level. Ridden by Daniel Coyle, the VDL Stud-bred stallion remained double clear right up to the jump-off of the Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for the King’s Cup. In the deciding round, the pair secured an impressive sixth place in this 1.55m class.

Success was also achieved in Italy by a Cardento offspring. At CSI2* Beddizole, Creevyquinn Pearl, ridden by British rider Chad Fellows, raced to victory in the 1.40m Small Tour qualifier. The pair remained clear in both phases and recorded the winning time of 27.54 seconds. The Cardento daughter is bred by S. & E. Reilly.
With performances at Derby, CSI5* and CSI2* level, Cardento’s offspring continue to distinguish themselves at international shows around the world.
