Cardento descendants first, third and fifth in Grand Prix

ROESER - There were great successes last weekend for several Cardento descendants in various Grand Prix.

Flip's Little Sparrow (Cardento x Robin Z) and Stephanie Holmén won the CSI3* Grand Prix over 1.50m in Roeser (LUX). This horse, of which we have seen successful results before, was bred by Kristina Larsson, Rottneros (SWE).

With two clear rounds and a fast time, Jonka-A (Cardento x Chin Chin) and Fanny Skalli (FRA) finished third in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in St. Tropez, France.

Nine-year-old Homey (Cardento x Heartbreaker), ridden by Emma Augier de Moussac (FRA), also finished third in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix of Gorla Minore (ITA).

In Caledon (CAN) it was Impossible Dream (Cardento x Peter Pan) ridden by Shane Sweetnam (IRL), who took fifth place in the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m. In another 1.45m class Cherokee ET (Cardento x Creool), ridden by Emma Marlowe (USA), was fourth. Zandvliet Stud Farm is the breeder of this fourteen-year-old gray gelding.

The match in Gorla Minore (ITA) was also a great success for Jestinov (Carrera x Ustinov) and Guido Tarantini (ITA); this combination won the 1.35m in the seven-year-olds. In two other classes over the same height, Jestinov was fifth and seventh.
