ELMSHORN - At the hybrid Holstein Winter Chance auction in Elmshorn (GER), the most money was paid for five-year-old Kalima, a daughter of Brantzau. The talented mare came into the hands of her new owner for € 86,000,-.
Kalima (Brantzau x Lasino), from the breeding of Heino Kracht (GER), was sold to Colombia and will continue her career under the saddle of international showjumping rider Santiago Medina.
The third most expensive horse at the Holsteiner Eilte Auction was also previously a Brantzau descendant, the four-year-old mare Bojangels (Brantzau x Clarimo), bred by Annika Laß (GER). This mare was sold to the UK for € 57,000,-.
