One of the most notable performances came from Kansas VDL (by Arezzo). The Arezzo son, bred by the VDL stud, finished third in the 2* Grand Prix of Gorla Minore.
Among the young horses, Rum RJ (by Impressive), bred by H. Ebbinge, also caught the eye. With Romanian rider Ionel Bucur, the five-year-old won three times in a row in the CSIYH classes for 5-year-olds (1.10m), underlining his consistent form.
There was also a victory for Marieke VDL (by Brantzau). The mare, bred by VDL Stud, jumped to victory with Swedish rider Niklas Arvidsson in the CSI2 1.35m class in two phases*, where the combination remained double clear in 26.17 seconds.
