The new combination VDL Oranta (by Indorado) and Chris Kappler were winning two times in the USA.  At the Winston National Horse Show VDL Oranta and Chris Kappler were competing for the first time on Grand Prix level. They won a 1.40 m class on Wensday, were 2nd in the mini-Grand Prix on Friday and on Sunday they were competing in the $ 50.000 Grand Prix. In the Grand Prix VDL Oranta was clear again, together with 4 other competers. Because of the extreme high temperatures the riders decide not to ride a jump-off.
