Several offspring of VDL Stallions became Champion at the provincial KWPN Mareshow of Friesland.

Champion of the foals became the Flemmingh-filly Alette O.A., owned and bred by O. Anema from Wijckel. Vice-champion was the son of Chin Chin: Amigo VDW, owned by A. N. van der Wey from Bakhuizen.�Offspring of Chin Chin did very well,�in the final were 3 out of the 9 foals by Chin Chin.

Champion of the 3-years old mares was the mare Vienna ST, owned by Jitske Stegenga from Beers, vice-Champion became the Orame-mare Vamina VDL, owned by the VDL Stud. Vienna ST was also Champion of the day and vice-Champion of the day was the 4 years old mare Urona (by VDL Hold up Premier), owned by J. de Jong from Burgwerd.

Champion of the 2-years old mares was the Orame-mare Wivina, owned by G. Zwartjens from Steggerda, the Quite Easy-mare Waliba VDL became vice-Champion.
