In the finals of the individual jumping at the Olympic Games in Athene Mac Kinley (Goodwill x Nimmerdor) and his rider Rolf-Goran Bengtsson were very succesfull. In the first round Mac Kinley had 8 penalties and in the 2nd round Mac Kinley had only one down. This result made Mac Kinley the 9th best horse at the Olympics in Athene. The VDL bred horse Promise Me (Lauriston x Ahorn), ridden by Ian Millar from Canada, finished after jumping 2 rounds at the 24th place.
