Lapatera Ryal K (by Zapatero VDL) was the best horse, with 80/85 points, at the Studbook inspection in Oosteind, in Brabant. The mare is a full sister of the KWPN-approved stallion Flying Dream.
Lapatera Ryal K, bred by J. Kazemier from Oldekerk from Windoctro Ryal K (approved IBOP (-spr)) from Indoctro, is owned by Rinus Blom. She received 85 points for both reflexes and technology.
Inspector Arnold Kootstra explained:
“This is a well-developed mare that is in good rectangular shape and has an appealing forehand. She's a little tight in the loin, but that certainly doesn't get in her way when jumping. She has a large, light-footed canter and keeps very good overview when jumping. She jumps well with the withers up, finishes the jump well behind, is eager and seems to have power ”.
