In the Grand Prix of Samorin, Zarlo (by Zirocco Blue) finished fourth. The Zirocco Blue son is bred by Jens Ritters and is ridden by Jannes Schultwolter. A good start to their first international 1.45m competition in 2024.
In addition, Jannes Schultwolter had even more success, this time with the Zirocco Blue son New Blue Bridge S. In the final of the six-year-olds, the Zirocco Blue bred by J.C. Slob managed to take the second place. Sixth place in the six-year-olds went to Stormer van het Bevrijdthof (by Inaico). The young Inaico son is bred in Belgium by Frans Kenis and ridden by Adrianna Ostrowska.
Not only with the Inaico son was Adrianna Ostrowska successful. She also won prizes with Lertana VDL (by Baltic). The Baltic daughter who is bred by VDL Stud and managed to finish sixth in the 1.35m on Friday. The victory in the 1.35m went to Innocence (by Zirocco Blue). Bred by J.F. Abbring, the Zirocco Blue son managed to stay clear in both phases with Agnieszka Olszewska and set the fastest time in the second phase.
Finally, there was also success in the seven-year-olds, this time for Merlin VDL (by Carrera). The Carrera son managed to finish fourth with Gyula Zárung. Out of six starts in the past two months in Samorin, the duo placed no less than four times.
