The VDL Stud stallion show on Saturday marked the official retirement of VDL Glasgow van het Merelsnest from the sport. He will now continue his breeding career here at the VDL Stud.
 
Glasgow has been a very special horse to the VDL Stud and his rider Jur Vrieling, who together, have won all over the world. He was part on the winning team in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, he won the Grand Prix’s in Rome, Arezzo and the World Cup in Helsinki.
 
Glasgow has already brought successful offspring into the sport such as High Five who jumps at 1.60m level among many others. We are looking forward to seeing his offspring grow and prove themselves at the highest level just like their father!

During the show our appreciations also was shown to the breeder of Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest, which is the family Bunder from Stoeterij ‘t Merelsnest and the Grooms of Glasgow.
