Last weekend, several offspring of the stallions Arezzo VDL and Carrera VDL managed to attract attention at international level during the international show jumping competitions at 1* and 2* level.
Double podium place for Jessica Hewlett and Arezzo offspring
On 24 July 2025, British rider Jessica Hewlett put in a strong performance during the *CSI2-W Big Tour 1 (1.35m)**. Riding the Arezzo VDL son Mosandro van Perbeemd, she jumped clear to victory in a time of 63.51 seconds. She finished second with King Kong, also a son of Arezzo VDL, in 67.29 seconds. Jessica showed with Mosandro van Perbeemd (by Arezzo) that they are unbeatable by winning the class on all three days.

Jillz Solier impresses in Silver Tour Final
In the Silver Tour Final (1.40m) on 26 July, Jillz Solier, a daughter of Carrera VDL, secured second place under the saddle of Salim Ahmed Al Suwaidi (UAE). The pair remained clear and finished in a fast time of 65.64 seconds. The Carrera daughter is bred by M. Priemis.
Strong performances for Majareedom (Arezzo VDL)
The mare Majareedom, bred by M. Kamphuis and also a son of Arezzo VDL, performed well in the classes for young riders (U25).
• On 26 July, he finished second in the EY U25 Tour 2 (1.40m) with Kirsten Katarina Packova (SVK) after a clear round in 69.82 seconds.
• On 27 July, the pair also jumped to ninth place in the EY U25 Grand Prix (1.45m).
Adagio de Mies shows potential in CSI1 final*
The CDE-approved Adagio de Mies, a son of Arezzo VDL, finished in an impressive third place in the Middle Tour Final (1.30m) on 27 July under Carlos Bosch Cebrian (ESP). Their clear round in 72.28 seconds earned them a place on the podium. Yeguada de Mies is the breeder of the Arezzo son.
