GORLA MINORE - Ireland VDL (Zapatero VDL x Indorado), the nine-year-old gelding bred by the VDL Stud out of the mare Anolivia VDL (Indorado x Nimmerdor), became 5th with Massimo Grossato (ITA) in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in Gorla Minore (ITA).
Ireland VDL recently won the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m under Massimo Grossato (ITA) in San Remo (ITA).
In May this year, Ireland VDL was fourth in the 1.45m Grand Prix of Tortona (ITA). He won the 1.40m and in another 1.40m Grand Prix in Tortona, Ireland VDL and Grossato came second very nicely.
Ireland VDL was previously also successful in the young horse classes in Spain.
Hulahupe JR (Bubalu VDL x Indoctro) and Joe Whitaker (GBR) won the CSIO3 over 1.45m.
This fantastic mare is owned by Jessica Crane and bred by the Reitsma family from Driesum (NED).
