MIAMI - Greatest Boy (Carrera VDL x Great Pleasure) and Tobias Meyer (GER) finished in fourth place in the CSI5* Grand Prix over 1.60m in Miami (USA). The eleven-year-old gelding was bred by the Arnoe family from Nispen (NED) and under his rider Greatest Boy also became Germany's 2021 Jumping Champion.
Faltic HB (Baltic VDL x Concorde) and Ben Maher (GBR) achieved a wonderful sixth place in the Grand Prix over 1.60m in Miami.
The also very successful Faltic HB was bred by H.A. Brinkman & M. Huisman, Nieuwleusen (NED).
Zilton SL Z (Zirocco Blue VDL x Indoctro) and Michael Duffy (IRE) finished in ninth place. The eleven-year-old gelding was bred by Peter Schollaert from Tollembeek (BEL).
This means that the top ten of the CSI5* Grand Prix over 1.60m in Miami includes no fewer than three descendants of the stallions Carrera VDL, Baltic VDL and Zirocco Blue VDL of the VDL Stud!
