ZUIDWOLDE - G-Vingino-Blue (Zirocco Blue x Orame) and Skye Morssinkhof (NED) have won the CSIOY NC-Y 1.45m Grand Prix of Outdoor De Wolden in Zuidwolde (NED).
It is not the first time that G-Vingino-Blue has achieved a great performance.
At the Dutch Jumping Championships the combination finished in fourth place among the Young Riders.
Last year they did good business in Vejer de la Frontera (ESP), finishing third in the 1.45m. G-Vingino-Blue (Zirocco Blue x Orame) and Skye Morssinkhof were also good for the victory in the 1.40m in Aachen. In Rome (ITA) they placed fourth in the 1.40m.
As an eight-year-old, the gelding won the Big Tour final in Salzburg (AUT), then also ridden by Morssinkhof. A year later they became Dutch Junior Jumping Champion.
W.J. Noordman (NED) bred the successful eleven-year-old bay mare.
Chivas AP Z (Cardento x Indoctro) and Jenny Krogsæter (NOR) were fifth. This also 11-year-old gray was bred by the Audenaert family (BEL) and was previously successfully ridden by Anouk Kort (NED) and Thibault le Jeune (BEL).
