Last weekend, the annual Jumping World Breeding Championship for young horses took place in Lanaken. Several VDL horses and offspring competed, including Sambucci de Muze with Luke Hill. The duo qualified for the final on Sunday for the third time. With a thrilling round, they once again finished in the top 25 in the world. Sambucci de Muze is bred by De Brabander.
On Saturday in the Consolation Class, Luke Hill also managed a very strong clear round with Night Life. This earned the VDL Stud-bred Erco van 't Roosakker son a respectable 15th place. In the Consolation Class for five-year-olds, Caranda VDL Z (by Carrera) and Sander Naber were successful. The pair clocked a fast time of 60.96 seconds and finished in 6th place. The Carrera daughter is bred by VDL Stud.
