Last Sunday, the Compiègne Grand Prix took place in France. Fiona des Ibis (by Zirocco Blue) and Julien Anquetin took home the title. The Zirocco Blue daughter, bred by Marie Christine Djindjian, also remained faultless in the jump-off and set the fastest time.
There was even more success for VDL offspring in the Grand Prix. Farrel VDL (by Cardento) finished 7th in the 1.60m 5* Grand Prix of Williamsburg. The Cardento son, bred by VDL Stud, qualified for the jump-off with Daniel Coyle with a clear basic course. The duo has now won more than £500,000 in prize money.
In the 2* 1.45m Grand Prix, Latino (by Harley) finished 5th. The Harley son, bred by G.G.M. Klerks, was ridden by Mario Deslauriers.
