At the prestigious CSI5* RBC Grand Prix of Canada, presented by Rolex, held at Spruce Meadows in Canada, the VDL Stud-bred Farrel VDL (by Cardento) once again showed his best form at the highest level of show jumping.
The son of Cardento, ridden by top Irish rider Daniel Coyle, jumped to a fine 3rd place in this highly competitive 1.60m Grand Prix. The pair remained clear in the first round, thereby qualifying for the jump-off, in which they ultimately incurred 4 penalty points.
Oscar-A, a son of Harley, also made his mark in the prestigious five-star class. Ridden by Sameh El Dahan, he finished in a creditable 9th place.
With a podium finish for Farrel VDL and a top 10 placing for Oscar-A, the VDL genes have once again demonstrated their worth at the very highest international level.
