Dakota VDL wins in Chantilly (France)

Dakota VDL won the grand prix for six-years old show jumpers during CSI Chantilly (France). Rider Darragh Kenny from Ireland and Dakota VDL competed in the competition for six-years old and remained clear in all three rounds.

The first round was a competition without a jump-off and they placed equal first. They were clear in the second round and with a good time in the jump-off and placed third. During the grand prix for six-years old show jumpers they had a very fast time in the jump-off and they ended up winning the Grand Prix.
Dakota VDL is approved by the KWPN and was sold during the WEF Auction in Wellington 2013 (Florida) to the Hyperion Stud in America.

In the competition for seven years old horses there was a son of Harley VDL competing. This son of Harley VDL, Constable II, was also clear in all three rounds. In the first round they were clear and finished equal first. In the second round they were clear and placed seventh. In the last round, the grand prix for seven years old show jumpers they were clear and with a fast jump-off they were placed second. Constable II was ridden by Laura Kraut from America.

Other offspring of VDL stallions were placed in several competitions:
- 9th in a 1.30m competiton: Coco Rico (s. Corland) ridden by Axel van Colen (Fra)
- 10th in a 1.30m competiton: Atina de Ravalinghien (s. Bordeaux VDL) ridden by Geoffroy de Coligny (Fra)
- 5th in a 1.40m competiton: Carpe Diem IV (s. Douglas) ridden by Hugo Breul (Fra)
- 9th in a 1.35m competition: The Pugilist (s. Douglas) Ridden by Bretton Chad (Can)
- 10th in a 1.35m competiton: Winde R.A.G. (s. Sheraton) ridden by Kirsten Rikkert (Neth)
