The approved stallion Bacardi VDL (Corland x Kannan) is sold through Jos Lansink to the sponsor of the talented rider Janika Sprunger from Switzerland. The imposing seven-year-old stallion was trained by and competing with Jos Lansink. Together they achieved a number of impressive results including winning the Silver Medal at the World Championship Showjumping for 7-year-olds in Lanaken last September. Bacardi VDL was bought as a foal by VDL Stud and when he was 3-year-old, he got approved by the KWPN. As a 5-year-old, he was under Dennis van Tilburg 11th in the VION Cup and he was a finalist at the World Championships in Lanaken. At the age of 6, the stallion went into training with Jos Lansink. Bacardi VDL will now continue his international career with Janika Sprunger and we hope to hear a lot from this talented combination in future.
