This last Friday Zirocco Blue and his rider Jur Vrieling placed 2nd in the World Cup Qualifier at the international horse show of Warsaw in Poland. The grey stallion jumped great and made a clear round in the jump-off.
Today the stallion  competed in his first  1.60m Grand Prix. Again he jumped fantastic but unfortunately he had one pole down. Although still a very good debut at 1.60m level.
In this Grand Prix there were great results for offspring of our stallions Emilion and Cardento:
the Emilion-mare Ponita, ridden by Ewa Mazurowska, placed 2nd and Pimlico, a son of Cardento ridden by Anna Gromzina, finished 3rd.

CSI 3* Dortmund, Duitsland
At the CSI  Dortmund 2 offspring of VDL Stallions were placed high: Zydoctro van de Kapel (Indoctro x Landwind), ridden by  Marc Bettinger, placed 3rd in a 1.45m class and  Chin Chieno (Chin Chin x Lord), ridden by  Lars Nieberg placed 9th in a class for 7 and 8 year old jumpers.
