The approved VDL Stallions Zapatero, Bacardi and Bugatti jumped very well in the VION Cup, the Dutch Championships for Young Jumpers. 

Zapatero VDL and his rider Angelique Hoorn jumped 2 clear rounds in the selection rounds and today in the final they had one down, in the final rankings of the Dutch Championship for 7 years old jumpers they placed 11th, a very good result.

Also Bacardi VDL, ridden by Dennis van Tilburg, placed 11th in the final rankings. He competed in the championship for 5 years old jumpers, he placed 4th in the final round of today. The 5 years old  Bugatti VDL was also very successful with his rider Marcel de Boer. He made it to the finals and placed 15th in the total rankings.


Offspring of VDL Stallions were very successful: Placed 3rd in the Championship for the 5 years old jumpers was Barrichello (Carolus II x Voltaire), ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans and Benz (Sydney x Hamar), ridden by Robert Puck placed 6th.  Placed 9th was Bardesther (Cardento x Guidam), ridden by Geert Moerings.

In the Championship for 6 years old jumpers Hidalgo placed 3rd, he is a son of Harley VDL bred out of a Corland-dam and he is riddden by Maikel van Mierlo.

In the Championship for the 4- years old jumpers Chapeau (Indoctro x Ramiro), ridden by Pieter Keunen, placed 4th and Dollards Casablanca (Corland x Matterhorn), ridden by Nicole Botma placed 5th.
