Southwind VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Ahorn) and his rider Cameron Hanley were very successfull at the CSI of Arezzo in Italy. There were 2 Grand Prix's during this horse show and in both Grand Prix they did very well.They placed one time 5th and one time 7th.
Cameron Hanley also competed with Bordeaux VDL (Baloubet du Rouet x Silvio) and they placed 2nd in a 1.40m class.

There were more good results in Arezzo, several offspring of VDL Stallions placed high:

- The Cardento-son Matric, ridden by Lisen Bratt Fredricson won a 1.45m class and placed 5th in a 1.40m class

- The Emilion-son Bonton, ridden by Massimiliano Baroni won a 1.35m class

- The Orame-mare Vadette van het Mettenhof, ridden by Ludo Philippaerts, placed 6th in a 1.40m class

- The Orame-mare Umare, ridden by Wolfgang Puschak, placed 10th in a 1.35m class

- The Indoctro-mare Little Lefanie, ridden by Geoff Luckett, placed 6th in a 1.40m class

- The Emilion-son Sering, ridden by  Gianni Govoni, placed 2nd in a 1.35m class and 4th in a 1.40m class

- The Emilion-son Salermo, ridden by Gian Marco Panini, placed 6th in a 1.45m class

- The Marlon-mare SIEC Wanda Leva, ridden by Richard Grom, placed 3rd in a class for 7 years old jumpers

-The Indoctro-mare SIEC Zelinosa, ridden by Richard Grom, placed 5th and  9th in a class for 6 years old jumpers

- The Corland-son Ascot di San Patrignano, placed 3rd in a class for 5 years old jumpers
